Can I get an amen Cajun.
As far as the new current Vikings, it's hard to pick one from the other. I'm very excited to see the running game. With Birk back, McKennie, Hutch, and Richardson leading the way, Taylor should have a breakout year.
On the other side of the ball, I look forwrd to seeing if Greenway picks up the defense well and how Tank and Sharper gel as a duo. To me this is one of the most interesting offseasons. So many changes in personnel (like 2005) but hopefully the gelling ha[pens quicker than it did last year.
With a better and more consistent running game, defenses will have to play honest and can't tee off on the QB. That should allow BJ to be confortable and get the semi-long ball to the very quick WRs we have. Willaimson, K-Rob and Taylor should be interesting as well as C-Taylor out of the backfield.

Re: What new Viking are you looking most forward to seeing play
I remember how AWFUL Cullpepper looked his rookie season!!
Im not sure i want to see that again with T.Jackson!!
I'll settle for a decent showing by the defense overall!!
If the defense is improved, it will help our offense!
I really dont see us lighting it up this year! When All else fails....at least theres Football. Beer, and Women (not necessarily in that order)

if I was forced to pick, I think Greenway will be the most exciting, simply because I see him making a lot of sportscenter-isc plays. I think Hutch will make the biggest contribution overall though.Zeus wrote:
When are you going to realize that picking out the 20 bad throws this year and ignoring the 300 good ones does not make your point?

I have to go with Steve Hutchinson. That whole transaction was the most offseason NFL-type fun I've had in a few years. The 'poison pill' blues for Seattle and then they try to come back at us by overpaying a mediocre Burleson. Fuck the Seachickens. I can't wait for that game.

Re: What new Viking are you looking most forward to seeing p
Well, since I have to decide:
Offense: Chester Taylor. I hope he can get the job done, but I've always had a soft spot for Mewelde. Tarvaris Jackson comes in second, because I want to see him play when he is ready. I will be watching him closely in Preseason though.
Defense: Chad Greenway. I'm a defensive-minded kind of guy, so this was a no brainer for me. I'm intrigued to see what Tank Williams can do also.Proud member of PP.O since April 5th, 2003!
