Too bad we cant trade Smoot, nobody wants his ridiculous contract now. Oh well I hope we got the coaching that we do on paper, cause things will surely happen this season. At least I hope.

Personally, I tend to think of that is the end of the 2004 season.

Let's get this straight people. The "Triangle" wouldn't be considering trading CPep, if CPep wouldn't be forcing the issue. IT'S ALL IN HIS HANDS. He can either decide to be smart and realize he's coming off an injury and horrible season and it's rediculous to ask for money now or continue to piss in the "Triangles" cornflakes and get his a$$ sent packing .... It's his choice.

There is no blame to place on management for this one, they are just reacting to CPep's demands and they are trying to look for the best of the organization. Start thinking maybe the wrong player got traded last year, as CPep put on his fraudulent "i'm the future of the vikes" image ... his true colors are starting to show now.

Re: what mistakes do you feel

I truly think things all started going wrong when Red became the owner of the Vikes.....Number One..

Number two, Handing the head coach job to Tice. Don't get me wrong, I liked Tice, but I just think he wasn't ready for a head coaching job at that point of his career. I'm also sure of the fact, thats not his strongest point in coaching to begin with.

Number 3, I would have let Tice go before Moss, I think a coach like Childress would have been able to handle Moss better and demand more from him as a player.....But it would have never worked with Moss and Tice being on the same Team Field...

The love boat players, if the league droped every player that has done this kind of stuff off the field, they'd have to included High School players in the draft to cover all the empty positions to be filled. Only difference is our players got turned in.....

Trust me, it goes on in every sport all the time....Just most the time it's behind closed and locked doors, not on deck of a public cruise boat for hire....

I'm beginning to wonder if our current coaching staff and ownership is a mistake.

Wonder no longer Toro, sit back and get ready for a hell of a ride.

I'm feeling good about all the change, we have a head coach who I think is going to make a name for himself and a name for the Vikings at the same time.

I have a gut feeling and I believe we are going to have one hell of a season next year....

If we don't, I'll be eating Crow next Jan....

I won't get my hopes up yet for a possible let down.

We don't know who our starting QB is,

We don't know who we will re-sign,

We don't know who might get traded,

We don't know who are starting RB is,

We don't know who we will draft,

& We don't know what FA's we will pick up.

I really thought, like many others, that last year was our year.
