What if the Vikings had drafted Tom Brady?

With the 165th pick of the 2000 draft (the next-to-last pick of the 5th round) the Minnesota Vikings selected Troy Walters, WR, Stanford.

With the 199th pick of the 2000 draft (the 8th-to-last pick of the 6th round) the New England Patriots selected Tom Brady, QB, Michigan.

He could have been the Vikings guy!
Wouldn't you rather have had him than Troy Walters?

The pick was almost PURE LUCK...take a look at the rest of the Putzies' 2000 draft:

2 (15, 46) - Adrian Klemm, Hawaii
3 (14, 76) - J.R. Redmond, Arizona State
4 (33, 127) - Greg Robinson-Randall, Michigan State
5 (12, 141) - Dave Stachelski, Boise State
5 (32, 161) - Jeff Marriott, Missouri
6 (21, 187) - Antwan Harris, Virginia
6 (33, 199) - Tom Brady, Michigan
6 (35, 201) - David Nugent, Purdue
7 (20, 226) - Casey Tisdale, New Mexico
7 (33, 239) - Patrick Pass, Georgia

Other than Pass, does anyone really remember any of these guys doing much for the Putzies...Klemm is now on the Pukers as a backup and he never started much for the Putzies when he was there.
I think that most of the others drafted above Brady washed out.
