Quick note I'd like to point out, IF indeed our line sucks and our backs suck' then explain how 3 carries for 36 yards was made on his own vision, And all out running ability, Like I said he doesn't get the time of day to carry the ball. Hence none of really know his capabilities. I think he has major potential to be a 1000 yard back given the opportunity.

Best years in the Pro's? Napo only played Middle his entirty in Oakland and he wasn't even the actual starter he was Sub'd in and out with another player most of the year and had injury problems. He was Outside in College.

EDIT: Note maybe it might not be that lone doesn't know what he's doing it's that fact he has to do 2 jobs, TWO! Keep the Line together, The offense together and Call the plays (Might be 3) That's alot of work and not to mention that's the stuff that's getting fouled up, Makes sense to me.

You said: Add a 0 to that 3 rushes you got over 100 yards.

Fact is: You don't know that...yes, chances are if he runs the ball 30 times he could gain 100 yards...but 3 yards a carry is not that special...plus the Vikings were playing from behind all day, so there is NO WAY that he gets that many carries.

Not trying to flame you...just keeping you honest, that's all.

Are you kidding me?? Those are the best out there. Man, the triple "bypass" burger with cheese at Wendy's .... ahhh, the Bomb baby. My woman has to hide my car keys, otherwise I'd eat that every meal of the day ...

Very good post. The only thing i disagree on is Bennett. I feel we should start him sunday at home on the turf. If does not produce and does not reduce the fumbles, then I'm offcial done with the guy. All of us have been waiting for this 2002 micheal bennett to return, and I've yet to see anything that makes me say, RESIGN THIS GUY AFTER THE END OF THE YEAR! lol but very good post, welcome!

Come on man, u and I have agreed on alot of things. But seriously, How many chances does one get?? He was Tice's little "pet projet" for over 3 years now and now he has even given up on him .... Bennett = done and now we can't even get anything in trade bait for him...

I think Bennet should be the starter until he shows he sucks with 20 carries or that he cannot handle 20 carries ... he has not even been given a chance at all ... He averaged over 5 yards a carry last year I believe, so what makes us think he cannot do it again?

haha MNjamie I agree...I feel that he should get one last chance. Just one. The first fumble or turnover and yank him outta there. Cuz last week was really the first time he got to run behind a less crappy Line. But i Hate bennett...I even wasted 80 bucks on his jersey in 03 lol...but Im willing to give him one last chance.

Re: What I think Is wrong.

Umm no, First Viking drive they went to Bennett look what he picks up, Of course he fumbled, And they just abandon him after his next carry which is a fumble but he picked up nice yards that one drive. At that time they were only down 7.

    First Quarter
    Minnesota Vikings at 15:00
    P.Edinger kicks 60 yards from MIN 30 to CIN 10. T.Perry to CIN 28 for 18 yards (E.Henderson).
    Cincinnati Bengals at 14:55
    1-10-CIN28 (14:55) R.Johnson left guard to CIN 30 for 2 yards (S.Johnson; P.Williams).
    2-8-CIN30 (14:19) C.Palmer pass to C.Johnson for 70 yards, TOUCHDOWN.
S.Graham extra point is GOOD, Center-B.St. Louis, Holder-K.Larson.
    MIN 0 CIN 7, Plays: 2 Yards: 72 Possession: 0:52.

    Cincinnati Bengals at 14:08
S.Graham kicks 65 yards from CIN 30 to MIN 5. T.Williamson MUFFS catch, and recovers at MIN 10. T.Williamson to MIN 10 for no gain (T.Perry).
    Minnesota Vikings at 14:05
    1-10-MIN10 (14:05) D.Culpepper pass incomplete to M.Bennett.
    2-10-MIN10 (13:59) M.Bennett left end to MIN 19 for 9 yards (M.Williams).
    3-1-MIN19 (13:24) M.Williams right tackle to MIN 21 for 2 yards (M.Williams; O.Thurman).
    1-10-MIN21 (12:52) M.Bennett right end to MIN 44 for 23 yards (K.Kaesviharn).
    1-10-MIN44 (12:14) M.Bennett left guard to MIN 48 for 4 yards (O.Thurman). FUMBLES (O.Thurman), RECOVERED by CIN-K.Kaesviharn at MIN 48. K.Kaesviharn to MIN 48 for no gain (C.Withrow).

Ok MAYBE he started a few games at OLB, I got wrong source info, But a majority of those games were at MLB because that's where they needed him. Plus the fact that was only 2003. My point is I think he would play better at MLB, That's just my opinion.

But I mean it's you're own problem if maybe you can't come to face that just maybe some of these players struggling on this football team can actually step up when given the chance, If you choose to be negative fine man it's you're call.

You're not trying to flame but you're doing an excellent job at it.

Re: What I think Is wrong.

I know everyone is going to rip my head off for saying this but here it goes.... Bennett has had enough CHANCES. He did look good the beginning of the game but now he added fumbling to his already poor stats. I think he even dropped a pass but I may be wrong about that. Give MeMo the chance now. Let him grow. I think Bennett has had enough time to grow. MeMo is more consistent with long runs.

Just so everyone knows I don't blame the game on Bennett. I don't want to be accused of that again. I will say he had a big part in losing momentum. Hopefully I don't offend anyone or tee anyone off but I still stand behind my thoughts on Bennett. IMO Moe is the best all around proven back we have. Others may have more talent and Bennett may have more speed but that isn't always the best. Is Fason still hurt? If not, they should get him in there.

The good news is we are only 1 game out of first place. The season is still young. Look at GB last year. 1-4. If the OL can start blocking maybe we can snap out of this. If not, we are in for a long season.

first off i don't know why we have rosenthal he sucks, liewinski sucks, birk is always injured, and goldberg sucks. the vikings could atleast go out and try to get some free agents or any offensive lineman that can do a better job cause our offensive line is a mess.

agreed on all counts. rosenthal is a steussie all over again with his false stars. birk, besides being hurt, holds alot, liewinski has seen better days, mckinney never lived up to potential yet. this tells me it really is time for tice to go. after all he is the front line specialist and look at them. i have to believe coaching is a part of that.
