Should be his year this year. Still say they should have kept him lighter and worked him at LDE instead of 3 tech DT.
Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v343/josdin00/Vikings/Marrdro_sig.jpg

What is Going On With Ballard?

What is the issue? Anyone been able to find any clarity other than "we don't expect him back?"

Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent

Ballard was placed on the active/left squad reserve list. It sounds like Ballard just doesn't want to play football anymore, though details have been scarce.
That is speculation, but it sounds like he did an Underwood.

Ex-Viking Ballard: NFL was no longer enjoyable

    Y! SPORTS

After a month of silence, Christian Ballard opened up Tuesday regarding the reason he walked away from the Minnesota Vikings in training camp.

The former defensive lineman told USA Today that he wasn't enjoying life in the NFL anymore.
Why must you defend everything this FO does....to the point of making your self look like a yes man.

I would guess there may be a bit more to the story, but would never question a man who wants to spend more time with his three year old son.
