What is the best route to drive north after the game on Friday?

After the preseason game on Friday, we need to head up to the Lino Lakes/Rice Creek area to meet some family.
We used to take 35W north out of the city, but that obviously isn't an option.

For those of you that live in the city, what kind of alternate routes have been set up, and what would you recommend?
I was thinking about taking 94 to 280 north, but I assume that everybody else is as well, so I don't know what the traffic will be like...

Suggestions?

I'm not from that area, but what about 94E? I know that will take you north of the cities, then heads east.

280 to 35w
(it is actually not so bad
or the way I go now is when you leave the dome turn left on washington the go up to 3rd ave to 65(central ave) north take right on broadway to cty rd 88 to 35w

I live on the north side, and I've never been caught in traffic in Minneapolis because always taken the 3rd Avenue bridge out of downtown to University Ave south, to 35W north.
Hennepin Avenue bridge works too.

According to what I've read the northbound lanes are open from 4th St./University.

It's fast taking the 3rd Ave. bridge.

lol no actually my life is BUSY went to 2 twins games this week 1 with my 2 boys and their 2 friends
( 2 6yr olds and 2 5yr olds ) and 1 just the boys and I went to the county fair went to mankato for training camp today and in the middle of it worked 45 hours but I could use some friends......j/k skol where do you hail from????
