What is being said about, by, or from our enemy ( next Opponent )?
Just a little bit of what we found being said about our enemy ( this week's opponent )
This week, of course it is our "friends" from across the River: the Pack.
Pack Center Scott Wells may be ‘out’ - http://www.jsonline.com/story/index.aspx?id=790313
Brand new Packers Punter this week - http://www.jsonline.com/story/index.aspx?id=789667
Brand new Long Snapper - http://www.jsonline.com/story/index.aspx?id=789360
Flynn beats out Brohm for #2 QB-
http://blogs.jsonline.com/packers/archive/2008/09/01/flynn-is-no-2-qb.aspx
Pack may be the youngest in the NFL - http://www.jsonline.com/story/index.aspx?id=790880
More to come later...
My overview for now: Since they have a reserve Starting Center, brand new Long snapper, brand new Punter...I see the potential for the Williams Boys, and EJ to bring the rush up the gut, and stop the run up the middle. I see Special Teams trying to block some punts.
Since they may have the youngest Team in the NFL, if we get some heat on the first string guys, and make them take a breather, etc. we should be able to do some whuppin' on the young second string.
The first Team QB Rogers is young, the second string Flynn is WAY below the level of our Frerotte.
What do you think?

I still can't believe that the Packers are starting a QB with zero NFL starts under his belt, and that on national TV. And vs. a big divisional rival.
... no pressure though... :
The Choke Factor is high in this one. If we don't blitz him constantly in the 1st Quarter, I will be pissed off, by the way.
LET'S GET THEIR QB OUT OF THERE EARLY WITH MULTIPLE BLITZES AND ALL KINDS OF AGGRESSIVE DEFENSE. We do this and it could get ugly.
;D

Their lack of a veteran backup QB is a bit surprising as well.I still can't believe that the Packers are starting a QB with zero NFL starts under his belt, and that on national TV. And vs. a big divisional rival.

Matt Flynn does nothing for me, albeit I've never seen him play...Proud member of PP.O since April 5th, 2003!

I hope to all that is good in the world that we can get to him without blitzing.
I wanna see alot of our LB's back in coverage in the short zones (OLB) and between the hash marks/seams (MLB) and a bunch of JA, K-dub, Phat Pat and Ray swallowing him up cause he can't find an open reciever. Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.

Some pretty important players on their Injured list, including K G B...havin' Artis out there may not hurt so bad.
