2007, as we all know, was the year of Adrian Peterson in Minnesota.
The Beloved Purple took a risk on a guy that had injury concerns in college, not to mention played a position that they already had a very competent player at, and it turned out to be a great selection for them....

I am glad I got to see both of these games live. The bears fans were actually complimenting him all game. I went with these two will be nothing compared to this year.

With all due respect to the talent of Purple Jesus, it is INCREDIBLY difficult to get over 200 yards, let alone break the NFL rushing record.
The San Diego game has to be the answer.

Before even seeing the poll choices, I had the San Diego game penciled in....Seriously, AD broke the single game rushing record in that game, not to mention as a rookie also.
Doesn't get much sweeter than that.
Except maybe having had been there to see it with your own eyes.....

I don't like personal achievements so I wouldn't pick either one of the games.

I went with other with the thought in mind of how quickly he came back (brace and all) so that he could help his team.

Both games, he pretty much willed our team to win, despite their ability to almost choke them away with dumb plays (like the Cromartie return or the Hester antics)

The SD game was incredible, because SD has such a good running game.

The only thing that bothers me was how AP was bottled up in the final games. We need to find a way to get him in space in 2008.
