Very true, makes for good offseason fodder though.
However, I thought you almost crossed the fence because you were so impressed with the new ref. uniforms.

That was during training camp, when time can be taken to make a careful assessment of that sort of thing.
Once the real hitting starts, the only time I notice a uni is when it's wrapped around a cheerleader.

I thought the purple strip on the pants was the coolest part of the whole uniform! They do look cool and modern, but it's just a shame that the jersey doesn't match the pants at all.

I thought the seperation of the stripe on the pants did not look good.
It should look continious from the jersy....IMO

The unis need to be a darker purple they look to blueish!

The tip of the horns on the back of the unis bothers me and looks stupid, but by the end of the game I didn't want to throw-up like I did at the start of the game.

But I really like the new helmets.

I think the new uni's are great.
I know lots of people don't like change but I think it was fitting.
New owner, new coach, lots of new players, and new uni's.
It's a new era for the Vikings and I look at this as a new beginning for all the players and the organization as a whole.
Now they need a new stadium and it will be the icing on the cake.

Also I just wanted to say that the change in the uniforms represent a new era for the Vikings.
I embrace the change.

I personally thought they weren't too bad, maybe a little extreme though.
I would prefer something that was more of a median between the old ones and these.

I wouldn't have minded subtle changes but I can't stand these unis
