No Viking is indispensable, because we all know what happens when a Viking is supposedly indispensable. He gets traded. Moss was indispensable. Culpepper was indispensable. And look where they are, Oakland and Miami. You should really change this question to "Which one of your favorite Vikings do you want traded next year?" Therefore, I respectfully decline to answer the question.

It depends. If you are trying to get legislative support for a Vikings stadium, you want to keep St. Paul native Matt Birk on the team. If you're the Vikings GM trying to save money, Brad Johnson's contract is indispensable. If you are another team's GM, you certainly do not want to pay a dispensable Steve Hutchinson's contract. If you want continued attention from local Cheeseheads, you'll keep Darren Sharper and Ryan Longwell around. I would personally label Scott Studwell as indispensable; he's needed not only as a draft expert, but he could probably still play a decent linebacker 15 years after retirement.

At this time I would nominate Zygi. He's the one who writes the checks :D
