I say more of Brad Johnson, and our offensive line.. We had our chances to score in that game, and BJ kept making stupid decisions.. Our O-Line played like crap not giving BJ more time to make his reads and make good throws..

I really think Childress dropped the ball with putting Bollinger in the game.. When the score was that bad, he should have put in T-Jack.. Look at it this way, if Bledsoe would never have gotten hurt, we may never have known just how good Tom Brady is.. If BJ didn't get hurt in his first stint as a Viking, we would never have seen how good Culpepper was.. Same goes for guys like Steve Young, Marc Bulger, and even Brett Favre..

Point being, we need to see what kind of poise Tarvaris Jackson has, and what better time to see that poise then being down 31-7? Did Childress really think that Brooks Bollinger was going to lead the Vikings back? He should have at least tried to shake the Pats up.. With Jackson in the game, they would have had to defend against the run, and pass.. T-Jack has one hell of an arm, and if need be, he can run like a deer.. I am very interested to see what T-Jack can do for this team.. This needs to be Brad Johnson's last season as a starter plain and simple.. He just doesn't have what it takes to be a successful starter in this league anymore.. Sorry to say it, but its the truth..

This week's Blame Ball goes to...the Patriots.

While I can't stand 'em, they beat us fair and square and are completely to blame for us losing the game.

Amen to that! Brads first INT was due to pass interference. The catch and
    fumble called incomplete
???. I have no doubts the bastards had money on the
game. I think we could beat the Patsies but not THE REFS

I agree with Kramer. We got beat, by a better team, and a better quarterback, and a better game plan. We didnt score an offensive touchdown, and the defense could not stop what they were doing. It's pretty simple, we are just not as good as the Pats.

does it honestly matter who gets blame?
    No.
Blame doesn't give us wins, it doesn't get us to the playoffs, and it damn sure doesn't raise moral for the Vikings team and community.

Lets focus on our future, and how we can improve, but by no means should we sink to the level of forgetting our purpose: keeping the public behind the Vikings, and help accellerate them to XLI.
