This weekend is OUR Superbowl!

I predicted that the Vikes and the Pack would meet in the playoffs. I was watching last week's games with a bunch of Packer fans (I live in Wisconsin) and they were cheering for Carolina and St. Louis, and when the final score came in from the NO/Carolina game and I knew that meant we made the playoffs, and jokingly I said, "Now watch, the Vikings and the Packers are going to play in the Playoffs and the Vikings are going to send you guys home." The Packer fans didn't even want to fathom this possibility, and I thought that both the Vikes and the Packers would have had to go through at least one game before this happened, as at this point we all thought that Packers would be playing the Seahawks. When we found out that this was the matchup, I was ecstatic! But my fiance, who is a Packer fan doesn't even think that the Packers can win. This is like OUR SuperBowl this year! Let's face it, as much as I hate saying this, we aren't going to get to the big dance this year. Lets savor this game, and hope that we can pull this one out. How satisfying would that be? It would be a great ending to a not-so-great season. Let's hope that we don't have another heart attack game this time.

When we BEAT GB at GB and knock them out I will be so
satisfied I will need to smoke two packs of stogies.

Welcome aboard VikeQueen. I'm not overconfident about this Sunday, but I think it will be a close game, and who knows? Anything can happen in close games.

We're one of just 6 teams from the NFC vying for the big dance. If we do win it will give us some confidence going into Philly, and confidence is what we've been lacking.

Either way, the Pack won't be playing in the "real" Super Bowl this year either!

Hey There Vikingqueen!! It's nice to see another "Viking Queen" on here like myself. I definitley feel the same way as you do about this game against the Pack. I think I had even said in another post that I don't think the Vikes will make it to the Superbowl but I think they will win this game and winning this game would make not being in the Superbowl well worth it! I cannot even begin to explain to you how much I hate the Packers, haha what Vikings fan doesn't, but man I'm so pumped up about tomorrow and ready to cheer on my Vikes and watch them kick some cheeseheads butts!!!
