It's a long season. Childress needs more time to build this team back after Green and Tice utterly destroyed it. He should be given a one-year extension.
Give me a break- Childress? More time? This guy is not a winner. I'm no Tice or Green fan, but they could get us motivated to beat the Packers.
Childress destroyed this team on his own.
Tice and Green both have better records than this joke of a head coach.
    Well said...

Another good week for the defense, They gave us a opportunity to win this week and last week.
Artis Hicks with the exception of one play where Freeny beat him and stripped the ball from Tjack he played well.

Rest of the OL- I thought did a solid job as well.

AD this is pretty much a No brainer

    Bads:
Shianco, I still have major doubts about TJack, and i doubt that will change but he at least needs to have someone that can catch a ball. If there is anyone on this team that needs to go first it is him.

    TJack not
a good game not a bad game, but he needs to step up. Period. Yeah there were dropped passes but Wayne and Gonzo dropped soem to for teh Colts. Not ripping on him but my stane at this point with Tjack is that he is not capable of running the offense. People rip the play calling but IO think its more of what they can and cannot run when he is the QB of the team.

Nothing I would really say went wrong on Defense. Yeah they gave up a big play, but what defense does not, it still was not enough to loose the game for us.

Offense outside of the OL and Hicks(Once again solid game Hicks) there enough blame to go around, and not on one person TJack or Chilly included.(well maybe except Shianco )
If our quarterback could actually throw the ball on the spot then perhaps our recievers could catch it.

The first person on this team that needs to go is Jackson.
year three and he still sucks

The turning point of the game came on the 3rd and 5 weel into the second half, when Childress made it clear to Jackson, the team, and the league that he does not have faith in his qb, handcuffing and disallowing him from the possibility of converting. You picked and groomed him Childress, at least give him a chance. Instead, 29 runs into the heart of the Colts D. I have been a Childress supporter since he arrived, but boy is it hard to continue to watch these games with misused talent and what seems to be a limited number of play options for Jackson. He is handcuffing the offense. AP can't do it alone, how many 150+ yard games can he have while chalking up a loss before you realize that you have to give Jackson a little more freedom and opportunity, even if he isn't progressing as fast as you like. Too bad 81 missed another TD catch, reminds me of last years KC game that we should have won too.

I am sure glad to see the t-jackoff supporters falling by the minute!
And i am happy to hear the fans boo the shit out of him after incomplete passes!
i am sick of seeing it.
again this bum had a chance to march the team down the field and be the hero.......no chance.
did anyone think he would even get us a first down?

The funny thing .....cedric griffin got owned today.
he played a huge partof this loss.
t-jackoff and chilly got to go!

I put a sig on here before, but it expired?
Now i have tried again but seem to be retarded.......oh well,

    Floop the bears!

I think its time to start looking at a QB.
I think at this point I would rather take Daunte Culpepper back with welcome arms over T-Jack.
Childress keeps riding the wave of T-Jack and if he continues to do so they will both be unemployed next season.
It is apparent he cant make the basic throws of an NFL QB and Childress does not want the ball in his hands with the lead so why keep starting him.
I was hoping Ferotte was going to come inin the 4th quarter just to move the ball.

I am officially on the fire Childress bandwagon.
I would be fine w/ Frazier taking over for the rest of the season ONLY if it meant that Bevell got shitcanned too.
What a hugely disappointing game of football.
    The first half was great.

TJack did not play great, but he was not the reason we lost the game.
It was once again horrible, predictable play-calling and poor catching/lack of aggression by our WRs and TEs.

BTW-All of you fans booing him when he threw an incomplete pass in the first half, go to HELL.
I could understand if there was a great QB out there that we could go after instead; at least then you'd be making a statement to the FO.
Booing the young QB for making a normal play is downright ignorant and mean-spirited.
All you are accomplishing is creating more pressure on him, causing him to force more throws.
I swear, the Vikings fans are a big reason they cannot make it to the SB.
Rock out with your cock out!!!

Re: Week 2: Postgame Thoughts and Observations

    please, i'm fucking sickened.
i know we have all had the debate about how we can't win anything if tavaris is our qb.
i dont know if we can win anything with childress as our head coach.
we dont play to win games, we play not to lose.
we are afraid of screwing up and either let games get outta hand or let something like today happen.
philosphy is too much of the problem here.
you play conservative the whole first half, then outta nowhere come out throwing with 20 seconds left.
you start mixing things up a bit more in the 2nd half, then on the 30 yard line of the colts you run 3 straight plays in the middle as if you are preparing to kick a game ending 20 yard field goal.
the defense makes the colts one dimensional and all you gotta do is not give up big plays on defense, and tahts exactly what they give up.
theres no consistency in attitude, play calling, and playing.
i'm either starting to think that we severely overrate ourselves, or that we are not getting the most out of the talent we have.
we want to win games a certain way but dont do the things capable of winning.
i mean look at how the titans win games.
thats i think how the vikes want to win, only problem is our pass defense is still bad and we dont finish off drives with the pass or run.
we are not creative at all in keeping teams off balance and when we need a play the players arent making them.
berrian stumbling and that play that was there.
    shank dropping yet another td.
look at all the tough catches gonazalez made today.
    we cant get one.
i saw manning throw passes behind guys, too high, and so on.
some lead to picks, some the wr made great catches.
tavaris throws a little behind one guy the crowd boos.
    i just dont get it.
    whats childress's logic.
is tavaris his qb, cuz if hes scare to let him play, why is he in there?
another first half where he was on his way to 6 pass attempts.
i keep on seeing the same things over and over and then we wonder why we aren't winning games.

Gee... where's that crowd that said Griffin was good?
I've been saying it all offesason that he's the weak link in our secondary, and guess what, he got owned.

I've never been a realy TJ or Chilly supporter, but not a hater.
but i have had it now.
many times we've had chances to win the game, and either Tj throws a terrible pass, or Chilly calls a draw on 3rd and long (packers game) or tries to pass.
WHY do we abandon the run in the 2nd half?
    happened last game too.
Abandoned the run and tried to pass, which obviously doesn't work.
Peterson had over 100 yards in the first half alone, but again, we try to pass.
Running was working, why not stick with it?

Chilly really REALLY needs to go IMO.
I've had it with the crowd that says "give him more time, he'll be good"
So goddamned blind, refuse to admit that maybe its possible the Vikings FO made a bad decision by getting him.
Can him and go after coach chin next year.
Hell, even Schottenheimer, he may be a "playoff choker" but at least he gets to the playoffs.
