Week 1- Cleveland predictions and recap.
I am going to predict that we come out and win big against Cleveland.
At this point I believe our offense is only going to be at 30% capacity at most, but against the Browns that is going to be more than enough.
Our defense will be stifling and will give us turnovers and great field position all day. Similar to what we had against Indy last year. The difference will be that they don't have Manning and Brett will be more agressive than Jackson with the ball and that will lead to more TD's and fewer FG's.
Vikings 35
Cleveland 10

Exactly what are you implying by stating that our offense will only be at 30% capacity? I'm not sure how you are arriving at that number. Berrian's injury & Favre's lack of time here may play a factor as will, but certainly not 70% of our offense.
Vikings 20
Browns 17
Although I won't rule out an upset if our boys come in over confident & Childress has them unprepared to play.
I haven't seen Quinn play at all, so I have no idea how he's progressed. Anyone see him play this preseason & care to throw your 2 cents in?
Re: Week 1- Cleveland predictions and recap.
Vikings - 27
Browns - 10
Quinn is running for his life all day.
Browns will not be able to run at all.
Long, frustrating day for Mangina.
Vikes offense will be about AD, Harvin, and Shiancoe.
AD goes for 135+, Harvin is targeted continuously - and flashes his breathtaking quickness and speed, Shiancoe has a big game down the seam.
Hopefully Rice is ready to step up because Favre will get the ball to him too.

Browns 17
Vikes win, Vikes win
Re: Week 1- Cleveland predictions and recap.
I'm expecting our team to hit the field and give 110% for the entire game.
If they do this on all sides of the ball,
we should easily take care of the Browns.
I see AD running for 170 yards and 2 TD's......
But the real shinning star today I predict to be the tandum of Favre and Shanko......
Shanko=
9 Receptions for 86 yards and 1 TD.
I also believe Rice will have a solid game,
6 Rec,
92 yards and 1 TD...
Favre=
275 yards passing,
2 Passing TD's,
and
0
int's.......
Vikings 34
Browns
10
Re: Week 1- Cleveland predictions and recap.
Vikings - 38
Cleveland - 3
Plus, the Browns not rushing for more than 60 yards.
Plus-plus, the Browns looking like they usually do.....shit!
Re: Week 1- Cleveland predictions and recap.
I think we walk start slow, but come away with the win 27-17, the Browns play a little better than expected and get a big return play from Cribbs.
AP goes for about 150 and a score, Favre still trying to get his timing down with our receivers manages 220 yards and a score, and our D adds a score.

I am exactly implying that the starting QB got here late and that we run an offense based on timing. Because of the limited time this unit has been together including 2 new starters on the line,Berrian injured, a rookie in Harvin and a new QB and the fact they sat out the whole 4th game of the preseason, there is no way that they are all on the same page and in sync with each other.
