I'd hit that too, on the sidelines or elsewhere.
Jackson would have hit Suzy Kolber on the sidelines

You'd be wrong. Jackson hit both Dugan & Mills on two of his passes Thursday night & the drops were clearly the fault of the WR.singersp wrote:

It was nice, but LOL! There wasn't a defender within 10 yards of Walker. Easy money.Webby wrote:
Webb just hit Javon for a long TD - 63 yards.See that mad run by Webb? His terrific coverage on his own INT saving a TD?
Never seen t-sack ever cover up on his INTs...
I have seen enough of Webb to think we need to keep him around somehow...and we need reliable backup...
Which leaves Tjack going to Oakland or somewhere.
Why wouldn't you keep Webb???
Keep Webb, cut TJack.

This first was a good throw. The second was a bad throw and it gave the receiver no chance to catch it in stride and make additional yards. Jackson is a terrible, terrible QB.vikinggreg wrote:

Jackson stellar 2.3 yards per pass average during the preseason was lower than 107 other QB's and only 4 others were lower. 93 other QB were able to complete more than Tarvaris's 12 with only 18 others completing 12 or less. 103 other QB's had a better completion percentage than Jackson's 46.2% with 7 being lower. And there were 94 QB's with a higher rating than Jacksons 53 with 18 being lower.
Now Jackson has had the same system and team for 4 years, he hasn't bounce around the league or had to deal with HC or OC changes, this preseason his footwork, ability to read defense and ability to react with quick productive decisions still appears to be lacking. This is a guy that is playing on a one tender and he's showcasing his skills in the lower 10% of his position.

That would be Jason Carter. And then there was the WR, who caught a TD in a preseason game & people here were anointing him the second coming of Cris Carter. Can't even recall his name anymore.

Thanks to Josdin for the awesome sig!

Re:Webb Stay, TJack Out
For everyone that thinks some of us are getting a little overboard on our expectations and love for Webb.
Well LET US have our fun for the next 5 days, because once the season starts and the Vikes kick some Saint ass. Everyone will be going "Webb who?"
That is unless Chilly follows my advice :P and finds some way to get Webb on the field.
