Yes, he had to switch from one side to another when EJ went down.
It seems simple, but the more I read about it; this is not a simple adjustment to make.
whats so different? you switch which hand you put down and you flip all the blitzes. its not like your responsibilites change.
i understand, and agree. I guess there's a certain familiarity with the left side for Udeze?

yeah i play de in high school and while i know there not very comparable by any means you would think he would just cowboy up and do his job. oh well who knows.
I used to play DE as well, last year in fact, and switching sides wasn't a big deal at all.

It all comes down to the fact that NFL Players = wimps.
    ;D
that is my thinking as well

So moral of story, don't vote for Ced. Udeze/James for sure.
If Sports Illustrated says he's the best young corner in the league, it's gotta be true...

Where did all this confidence come from? You figure if SI knows about this "best young corner in the league", that opposing teams (who's sole occupation is knowing every aspect of the football team they will be playing) would surely know about Griffin.

I'm not saying, i'm just saying....

Another tough question! Again because we have not seen some of the new guys play a full game. I would have to say Udeze. I know he is good against the run and made a lot of negative yard takles but no sack.
Come on at least get one.

This scout knows it, not SI (Well I guess they know now. Hopefully. But it's SI, you never know)...all I'm saying is have some confidence. Not even close to being the weak link.

    Re: Weakest Link: Defence

I went with Other, and my Other is Erasmus James........

Why, because he hasn't played hardly any ball in a year and he's coming off his injury....
So he to me is the weakest link right now.
But if he does not produce and or goes down again, I'll be very happy seeing either one of the two players waiting in the wings to step in.......Edwards and Robison......

Fact is, if either Udeze or James falter in any way, I wouldn't be suprised to see either one replaced by Edwards in a heart beat and I wouldn't worry about the change for a second..........

    Re: Weakest Link: Defence

good point, but he's still too unproven to not be considered the "weak link" IMO.

And isn't it nice to not have our LBs not even being considered as our weak link? It seemed like they were the defense's pitfall for the longest time....

    Other = Henderson

I thought maybe Griff, but we will see.
If they target the TE down the middle that will be
    the key.

Again I answered this question wrong.
Other teams will think Cedric Griffin is our weakest link. In my opinion they are going to be wrong and Cedric will make them pay.
