A strong unit with a few weaknesses. Who is the opposing team going to view as our weak point?

our weak link, if you want to call it that would have to be Griffen until he starts picking off some of the balls that come his way... and when he does, opposing teams will just punt, and try to score with their defense instead ;DQuote:

So far Griff seems the most vulnerable on a consistent basis.
I honestly can't vote on this one!!!!!
Reason is.....................
I think we never shoulda let Greg Blue go!!!
I think he shows more promise than Dwight (never at the right place) Smith, and Tank (neva gona get healed right) Williams.
Griffin will tighten up his coverage this regular season.
Our "D" said that they played a fairly "Vanilla" defense all preseason
Also, whose crank has Ronyell Witaker been sucking to beat out Dovonte Edwards???
I know McCauley was anointed the nickel back when he was drafted, but Edwards even said that "he felt he was given a chance to win the nickel job last season", but nowhere the case this year."
IMO Udeze has no reason to be on the list, he lead the Fuckin league in tackles for loss last year, and is a monster against the run, and this year on Passing Downs Robison/ James will be in there instead of him, so he should improve moving back to his natural spot
the weakest link on our defense is more critical than our weakest link on our offense IMO. An offense, on certain occasions, can cover up a players inability, but a defense doesn't have that luxury. If i had to pick a "weak link" though in our defense, it's pleasantly tough. I'd have to go with Griffin, or possibly our nickel back considering McCauley is a rookie.

back to his natural spot? i thought that was defensive end. which is wear hes always been. so you definitly lost me on that one. and just cus hes good against the run says nothing. you cant be good on some downs and horrible on others. youll never get anywhere in the league. he really needs to step it up on passing plays this year.Quote:

I also have to agree with Woo!

And I totally agree. I hope with our new D-co. and a few added blitzes that Udeze is able to get to the quarterback more times than like the previous season. But i don't believe he's our weak link, but he certainly belongs up there as one of the weaker ones.
