Re: We picked up a punter
KFAN article:
In college, Kluwe averaged 43.4 yards per punt and was one of three finalists for the Ray Guy Award for the NCAA punter of the year.
The guy has potential, I hope he can deliver use some consistancy. But being ranked 26th overall in the preseason still means there were only a hand full of punters worse than him, Bennett and Dorsch being 2 of that hand full.
None of the other Veterans that Tice is going to tryout look that much better.

Re: We picked up a punter
I'm gonna make my kids punters!

I get the most pissed off looks from people with my VKG 4 LFE Wisconsin license plate, and I LOVE IT!!

Re: We picked up a punter
Anyone would be better than Bennett. No offence to Bennett, I like him. I feel bad for his child. But, as a Vike fan, it's time to move on....
Chris Kluwe!! (we hope)

Re: We picked up a punter
Kluwe will compete with 3 other veterans:
when Kluwe is enjoying his off day, the Vikings will work out three veterans: Chris Mohr, 39, with 16 years of NFL experience; Tom Rouen, 37, with 13 years in the league; and Micah Knorr, 30.

Re: We picked up a punter
I hope this guy can do it for us. Bennet sucked last year and preseason. I hope he can kickoff too, since Edinger is not doing the best there.

Another great sig by PPE!

I will take Kluwe over them just because he can develop and be perhaps our future punter."pigskinronin" wrote:

Re: We picked up a punter
yah i just hope Kluwe doesn't need someone to teach him, because i'm tired of having older than dirt kickers in Minnesota.
