We need a passing attack to keep Peterson healthy!

Even if yesterdays injury turns out not to be serious it's imminent that he's going to have a serious injury when teams can key on him All Day long. Without a passing game we're throwing Peterson to the wolves. Give him 10 carries a game and keep him healthy as opposed to him being a tackling dummy in our current system. Childress is going to ruin the only thing our offense has going for them right now. That's if Peterson doesn't already go under the knife from yesterdays injury.

    10 carries a game?
    That is giving up.
Injuries are part of the game.
It can happen on the first carry, it can happen on the 25th.
Yes, we need a passing game.
But we should still let AD do what he does best, and that is run the football.

Not to mention that if we start limiting his carries when he is perfectly healthy, people will start to think we are just trying to limit the money he earns in his incentive based contract.

    10 carries a game?! HAHAHA

I see where u are coming from.. We are not balanced and could be wearing out the young stud wayyyyyyyyyy too early

Atleast mix in Chester a little more to keep him healthy and fresh if we can't get a passing game

    Come on!
How fickle are we as fans?
When Childress was doing exactly that in the first half of the season he was criticized left and right for not utilizing the most effective weapon on the team.
Now that he is giving AD the majority of the carries, suddenly he is getting criticized for that too?

Just frustrated here and hate to see the kid get keyed on like he does now. You put him on a team with any type of passing threat and he's money for years to come. I really don't want to see him carry the ball just ten times a game but I also don't want to see him getting carted off the field anymore. Sure injuries are part of the game but we're increasing the odds dramatically by not having any other threats. My whole point here is that Chidlress and his "kick ass" system are going to get the kid hurt. I hope the owner realizes this.

Lets give him one touch a game!

At that rate he will be good for at least 15 years!

No man u don't get it Nodak..

Just thinking if AP gets 30 carries a game thats 480 thru a season... WAYYYYYYY too many

Ppl critisized Chilly for not putting him in at crucial times I.E the 1st Pack game.. 2 carries in the second half? Come on

And what the topic starter was saying is just find different ways to not let them stack 8 in the box and try to crush him every play...

Get a passing game.. Use screens and things like that

They tried screens. I was angry about those screens too.

Ad dropped one. And Ad couldn't break any yardage the other few times. He's much more effective on a toss than a screen.

How about we need a passing attack in order to win games.

I like AD, but I like winning games 100x better.
I do not give a shit who gets the ball; just wins some games.
