Yes, but not by that much. We do play them next week, so that game will be much more important than this week.
If we beat them, we get in over them, no matter what happens this week or week 17 (we would have atleast 8 wins, and they would have atleast 8 losses, and we would have the tie breaker).
So, this giants washington game will only matter if they beat us next week.
If we do lose, however, I will be more worried by the saints, though, as the Redskins still have to play the Cowboys.


But yeah, as long as the Vikings win out, we will be in.

True, I think the saints have a better chance at beating the eagles and bears than the redskins beating the Giants and a possibly not full strengh Cowboys.


But, if the Eagles hang on to win this game, the Cowboys may have to win that game for home field.

The Minnesota Vikings need to win their games and not worry about anything else.
If they truly believe they can contend in the playoffs, rather than being the normal 6-seed pretender, then they need to carry the big momentum into that Wild-Card game on the strength of a 7-game winning streak.

First step is tomorrow night against an overmatched opponent.
