Re: We have to catch Chicago to make the playoffs.
The Browns game for us this week is huge! Chicago lost to Cleveland, if we win that will help give us a win against a common opponent. It wont matter if Chicago finishes with a better record than us though so in that perspective every game is huge. Just think 4 weeks ago we were talking about getting the #1 draft pick now its playoff talk...simply amazing. GO VIKINGS!!!!

Re: We have to catch Chicago to make the playoffs.
Let's just remember, this is the Bears. There is almost infinite potential for them to screw this up by the end of the year and let us in.
Also, I like our schedule. We have only 2 games the rest of the way against teams with a winning record so far. And 4 of the 6 games are in the Dome.
Bears schedule, on the other hand:
Chicago
@ Tampa Bay - tough game against a good opponent (L)
Packers - I don't care what the GB record is, they will come ready for this. (W)
@ Steelers - I see the Bears losing this one. (L)
Falcons - Could go either way. Beears will probably win it. (W)
@ Packers - I see the Bears splitting against the Packers. (L)
@ MN - we win at home. (L)
Bears final record: 9-7

Bears have a tough schedule.. Looks like our only for sure lose would be Pittsburgh.. And we play them at the dome last game! We got the Browns here next week at home so we should keep on rolling!

Re: We have to catch Chicago to make the playoffs.
We don't HAVE to catch the bears. If we win 4 or 5 of our next 6 games we have a very good shot at getting a wildcard.
Cowboys ,Giants, Carolina, Chicago, Seattle will probably make the playoffs.
That will leave us in a dogfight for the final spot with teams like Washington, Tampa (who will be tough) and Atlanta for a wildcard.

That last game with Chicago will be for the division title. Mark my words!

Re: We have to catch Chicago to make the playoffs.
i think every game we play from now on is winable. i dont think we will win every game, but the rest are winable.
even the steelers game, they are struggling. if they cant get ben consistently in, we can beat them. also: this monday night, steelers vs colts at indianapolis. im hopeing the steelers SUCK, maybe they'll have a "we cant win in a dome" thing going on or something, who knows!"There is good and there is evil. And evil must be punished. Even in the face of Armageddon I will not compromise."

Re: We have to catch Chicago to make the playoffs.
Yeah I see us beating the Lions and the Browns... and maybe the rams. All we have to do after that is pull off a win against either the Ravens or the Steelers and take one ata home against the Bears. Damn its gonna be a tough road to the playoffs this year...

IMO a great shot at playoffs
i do belive that we have a great shot at winning the north. the bears wont win out and they will faulter in some of the coming weeks, we just have to take advatage of that. sure it looks like there far ahead now but when we beat the browns next week and if the bears lose at tampa then thoes records will look alot closer. But for right now i think the most important game coming up is in detroit. We need to win that game and then beat the bears on the last game to go 5-1 in the divsion. and then if bears lose to green bay once {which is possible becasue its a division game} then that means we win the tie breaker with the bears if need be. So i have very high hopes for us right now. we are playing great football and winning close games and thats what good teams do. so just hang in there and win at least 5 out of the next 6 at least and i think we will win the north.
