Re: Watching the game on TV

They are showing it in New York City area even though the Jets are on at 1pm.
Most of time they black out the competing game (and show the X-Files) so you are usually forced to watch only the Jets and Giants.

Re: Watching the game on TV

I will be watching the game on my wide screen TV,my best friend is driving up from Washington , he is a Bear fan. I have been with direct tv for years and I must say I have not missed a viking game. I am in Penn and local channels are blacking out the steelers game, many tick off people. I offered my house to my steeler fans to watch the game, but with a cost!!! $10 a person and a minimal of 10 people to do this, I will let them watch it in my front room, What are friends for!!!! GO VIKES

I hate to tell you this but if the game is blacked out in your area then you will not be able to get it on Direct TV either.

Re: Watching the game on TV

We put a home theater down our basement this spring. We went with a projector, a 90" screen and an 800w surround sound receiver hooked to a Direct TV HD reciever and NFL Sunday Ticket.

The games are alot more fun to watch now than on the old 32" TV ;D
