I honestly believe that politics are involved..imagine that.. state govt. officials probably influenced Wilf to clean house, and if he did, they would work harded on getting that new stadium

Technically he didn't get fired, he was notified he wouldn't be rehired because he was already out of a job.

Coaches that get fired don't get parades they get shown the door. Maybe he deserved a fruit basket or something hell i don't know.

If that is the case, then why make up some LAME excuse that he wanted to know ASAP...their excuse is TOTAL SPIN...I would respect Wilf more if he would have came on and said, "F*** yeah, I kicked that bum to the curb...and I liked it!"

I could really care less now; he's gone and its done and over with.

All the bickering around here has expedited my feelings on the issue.

    Re: Vote on Tice

Hey all. Thanks for all the feedback. Everyone makes a lot of good points. I can't argue the fact it is better sooner than later. Del Rio maybe he did get the basket of fruits (lol). You are right too in saying his contract was up and he was just told it wouldn't be renewed. That is a main point. The other is Wilf may have been politically inclined to make the change. Good point there too. Well guys, again thanks for the input. I apologize to all again about the repetitiveness.

Congrats to the Vikings organization and Brad Childress. I am so happy we finally have a well respected coach. For the Denny Green fans out there I hope I don't ruffle any feathers but I wasn't his biggest fan either. A good coach would have put that team in the superbowl at least once if not more.
