I would honestly put the Vikes' D in the top 5.
I'd rate the Steelers up there now that they have Troy Polamalu back, and the Broncos and Ravens and Bears are all pretty even with them at the top.
I'd have to put the Vikes at #5 behind those 4.
If Smoot didn't get smoked all the time they'd be higher, but we're still succeptible to the pass, but that's how it goes.
HUGE improvement over recent years, but that's largely due to not having Dumbte Fumblepepper in there turning the ball over and putting the D in bad situations constantly.

I just voted and we are at 9 now though I'm surprised it is the Ravens that are down at 10.

why are we that low? no love for the vikes like always. maybe because vikings and defense are usually the kind of things that dont go well together in a sentence.

Exactly.
People vote on reputation, most aren't as warped as many of us and don't keep up with the current stats for all 32 teams.
