Vikings' Williams out with sprained right knee
Vikings' Williams out with sprained right knee
From THe Mercury News;
MINNEAPOLIS - Minnesota defensive tackle Kevin Williams sprained his right knee in the first quarter against Cleveland, and after halftime the Vikings ruled him out for the rest of Sunday's game.
Williams was replaced by rookie C.J. Mosley, a sixth-round draft pick from Missouri. Another backup tackle, Spencer Johnson, was inactive for the sixth time in seven weeks because of a knee injury.
An All-Pro last year after collecting 11 1/2 sacks in his second NFL season, Williams had offseason surgery on his right knee. That hurt his conditioning, and Williams came to training camp overweight. He has only one sack this year.

Re: Vikings' Williams out with sprained right knee
I don't think this is serious, I sat 3 rows behind him at the game.
He was wearing an ice pack on the knee & he was walking around with it on up intil half time.
I hope he's available for next weeks game.

I hope he is back next week. I also hope it isn't too serious, last time we had a SUPOSED sprained knee it cost us three ligaments and a QB

Did you guys see how Mosley did?! Came in and got 2 sacks and a forced fumble. Can you say SOD?!
The best part of my day is when I get down on my knees, with my head in my hands, and thank GOD for everything he has given me.

Re: Vikings' Williams out with sprained right knee
that sucks, K-Will was finally getting into football shape and now he's injuried. another reason this sucks is we are getting pretty slim on the d-line if K-Williams can suit up.

Thanks Josdin
