Vikings will be peeking at scoreboard Sunday
Brad Childress knows his players will keep tabs on the Redskins, who will be playing at the same time as the Vikings this weekend.

In a league full of teams that pride themselves on taking it one game at a time, never worrying about things they can't control and countless other clichés designed to foster unity, the Vikings are certain to break ranks from the rest of the NFL for at least one day.
That's because as Minnesota plays a late-afternoon game Sunday in Denver, players and team personnel are sure to direct plenty of looks at Invesco Field's out-of-town scoreboard. The specific focus will be on what is transpiring between the Dallas Cowboys and the host Washington Redskins in a game that also kicks off at 3:15 p.m.
After losing to Washington on Sunday night, the only way the Vikings can get into the postseason is by beating Denver and having the Cowboys defeat Washington. So how will Vikings coach Brad Childress feel about having his team's focus in, gasp, two places at once?
"I am not going to mandate anything or ask [Broncos coach] Mike Shanahan not to put the scores up there or anything like that," Childress said...Kentucky Vikes Fan

First time in a long long time I'll be rooting for the Cowboys.

Re: Vikings will be peeking at scoreboard Sunday
Hopefully Denver's inablity to stop anybody running at them will mean their 9 man box will be useless against AP and Chester.
Otherwise we're going to have to hope T-Jack and Childress's brain can create a passing game to make them let up.
Oh boy........
As for Dallas, I could see them winning.
They won't be benching everyone, and you never know with fired up back up guys coming in if they'll play 150 percent.
Only time will tell huh?
Go Vikings, Go Cowboys.

That's a no brainer, but the Vikings should be concentrating on the buisness of winning at Denver regardless of the scoreboard.Vikings will be peeking at scoreboard Sunday

The passing attack was pretty effective in the Skins game and in the games we won if you really cared to look.
What is hard is to get "Futureboy" to throw the damn ball on time and on target and not to the wrong colored jersies.
Of course you could keep touting it is a play calling issue if you want but not alot of credibility in that is there.

Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.

I don't like the way this unfolded, never want to pull for the cowpokes, and I imagine they'll be led by ol' man Johnson, atleast after Romo gets canned one time. We just have to hope this NFCE battle brings some intangibles that help us out. First and foremost we have to beat the lifeless Bronco's. Then what happens happens.

Redskins are going to be fired up.. And playing mostly against backups
Honestly I don't have alot of hope
I know we can beat the Broncos.. But it's not up to us anymore
