Vikings will have a look at Sorensen

Nick Sorensen, a former Jags safety who was cut last week will come in for a visit.

The visit is somewhat unexpected as Sorensen plays safety when he's on defense, however Nick Sorensen is a very good special teams player and could help a very bad special teams unit come together.

Convert him to CB and let him, Farwell, and Ciurciu tear it up on ST.

This is a puzzling piece. I would've thought safety was the least of our concerns, we have 4 guys that could be starting and a solid young guy in Blue. Blue was a good ST player for us last season and is a good tackler. I still don't know why in the hell we cut our ST captain Willie Offord last year only to bring in Rashad Baker, who played one game and was released midway through the season...
