Vikings to wear throwback jerseys Monday Night

The Vikings are wearing their old-school helmets during today's session, meaning that for the second time in three years they (almost certainly) willl be wearing their throwback uniforms for a game against the Packers at the Metrodome

I love the throwback jerseys.
I wish they would switch back to them as the primary jersey.

Niiice.
I like the throwbacks as well.
But also like the new ones so not sure they should switch back, but I enjoy when they switch em up for a game.

I love the throwback uni's as well, but the pink cleats and gloves are going to look strange with them.
They would look less strange with the regular uniforms.

I prefer the old jerseys but I like the new style horn on the helmets over the old ones.

That was the first thing I thought of as well.
Pink will go better with the purple than it will with Green/Gold.

Fairys (Vikes) vs. transvestites (Packtards) if you will.

I think in this instance the fact that it's going to look strange is a good thing. The point of wearing them is to promote awareness of cancer and hopefully raise some money into the bargain, not as a fashion statement.

Yeah ... I love the current uniforms actually.
But something nice about the throwbacks. I would actually prefer wear the throwbacks in a game at Soldier Field or Lamblow so you had the outdoor elements and it really feels like a throwback.
