Vikings, WCCO discussing ways to avoid blackout

For the second time this season, the Vikings might need a corporate assist to avoid their first television blackout in 10 seasons.

No way this game goes unsold. This Sunday would be the 100th consecutive sellout.

Someone, if not Wilf, will buy them up since it will be a milestone in consecutive sellouts.

Re: Vikings, WCCO discussing ways to avoid blackout

As of Monday afternoon, the Vikings (2-5) had a little less than 2,400 tickets to sell; NFL rules require they be sold 72 hours before kickoff, which is noon Thursday, for the game to be aired locally.

...

Last week, the Vikings had 2,000 tickets left on Monday for what turned out to be a 23-16 loss to Philadelphia. That game was sold out by mid-week with no corporate help.
Should be a sell out.

Believe it or not, I actually enjoy watching this team play.

Every game has been close or close enough to keep me on the edge of my recliner, every game has had at least 1 or two plays that make me just say WOW and damn if there isn't always something gonna happen that is gonna cause a stir.

Of course, I have ran out of beer twice so far.
Wildwoman has made the proper adjustments and that won't happen again my friends.
;D
Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v343/josdin00/Vikings/Marrdro_sig.jpg

At least Wildwoman knows how to make adjustments.
Maybe Childress could learn a thing or two from her... ;D
