First team offense did great except for Shank. First team defense did so-so but Pat Williams wasn't playing so that could have been part of the problem with us letting runs up the middle.

Yes, all the starters were in except for Pat Williams, Madeiu Williams, and I think Sharper was in there but I don't remember them calling his name all night so I'm not sure...
The D got absolutely worked tonight.

We need to get TOUGHER and PROTECT the ball. Geez. Take away the turnovers and the game is different. But again games are won and lost by turnovers (most of the time). The turnovers were just deflating and put the defense in a no win situation
    TJack looked really good
    Frerote looked good
    Bollinger looked ...hmmm
Booty well he is a rookie.

it was rather boring game, just like all preseason games. lots of big hits, way to many fumbles on both sides of the ball. tjack actually looked really good. first 9 plays were all passing, and he did a great job in his quarter and a bit of work. hicks had some flashs of great running. the best guy on the field might have been Kluwe: C. Kluwe 3 53.3 1 57. pretty damn nice looking numbers. so when we dont turn it over and arent getting first downs, we know the ball will be in deep and allow our defense to go to work... well except for tonight. the defense really didnt have anything going for them.

but that is why the season is still a month away and all teams have lots of work to do.
    We're bringing purple back.

If M. Williams and Sharper were out too, that would be reason for our pass D to get worked over as well. Thanks for the update...

Yeah, Tyrell Johnson got the start for M. Williams and I just don't remember Sharper even playing...

I was watching hte NFLN broadcast, and I just noticed, the yellow trim around the numbers looks much more gold now.
Has anyone heard of them altering the uni's to make it gold instead of yellow?
