Fred Smoot runs his big fat c**k washer and gets toasted by our receivers.
Vikings take a 14 point lead into the 4th and pound the ball with AP and CT.
AP fakes Smoot right out of his panties en route to a 40 yard td run.
Vikes win 34-13.

Why should they?
Lets look at this realistically. ......

QB..
If they can get anykind of pressure on TJ he might cost us the game.
Lets hope our OL gives him the extra time his experience level dictates.
I think it is a wash, edge no one.

OL.
This team is tied for 20th in the leage with Pts per game avg.
21rst in the league with sacks given and 11th in average yards per game rushing with 0 long runs (+40).
We will nullify thier running game and (although we aren't quiet the greatest) we should be able to get to thier QB with our DL and a few select LB blitzs.

Thier D is ranked a very respectable 9th against the run and 12th in the leage with avg points per game given up. They are ranked 16th with sacks and 27th in INTs.
They will be able to get after us, however, I give our boys the benifit of the doubt.

They are ranked 16th in the league in recieving yards were we are 30th.

They are ranked 11th in the league in rushing yards with us being 1rst.

Long story short, we should (based on stats) match up better than one would think and have the edge, however, lets not forget how well we looked (on paper) against the Bears.

It will be imperative that the OL not only open holes for our RB's against a stout run D but protect/provide TJ and our WR time to exploit this teams weakness.

I look for another 50/50 (Run/Pass) ratio early on as we try to get ahead of them.

I think Smoot will have a good game, then everybody talks about we shouldn't have gotten rid of him.. of course i don't hope so but it would've been just our luck..

I think we can stop their offense like we did with Chicago, then they are going nowhere and we win the game

Washington 13 - 23 Vikings

This game will feature plenty of turnovers, and whoever runs the ball more effectively will win. They are a better passing team than we are, but I just can't see them scoring points if we shut down Portis. Also, as you all know, I don't think anyone can stop our rushing attack if we stick with the run.

The coaches did a good job last week of establishing offensive rhythm. Specifically that applies to the TJ to Wade connection, as well as the swing pass to Peterson early. TJ was not asked to make any tough throws. Unfortunately the turnovers derailed our rhythm.

It will be interesting what th Redskins try to do when we shut down their run. Collins and Cooley are not enough to beat us. I expect some trick plays.
