CB Antoine Winfield said after practice today that he will be in uniform and on the field for Sunday’s game against Oakland. Winfield has missed the Vikings past two games because of a strained hamstring......

(11-14) 18:49 PST Alameda -- Vikings nose tackle Pat Williams heard the Raiders rank fifth in the NFL in rushing. Sounds nice, but he recommends they take up a second hobby - say, throwing the ball - in Sunday's game at the Metrodome.....

The Minnesota Vikings didn't fare too well when Adrian Peterson was shut down and knocked out of last week's game. They'll have to find a way to play much better Sunday without their star rookie running back taking the field at all.....

Re: Vikings vs. Raiders pre-game articles
It'll be nice to have Winfield and Tarvaris back this week. We need both these guys to stay healthy the rest of the season if we are to improve. I wish Erasmus James would get up to speed. Chester Taylor will get 100 yrds this week, and our defense will force the Raiders to pass... That will give us a chance to run an ol' friend down. Culpepper gets the start, but if things go bad, we might see Jamarcus Russell for the first time. I hope big Pat and company welcome them to the Dome with open arms, clawing and swinging, and clubbing them to the turf.

After last week, they need to prove themselves as a run-stopping force all over again...and they're gonna have to do it ON THE FIELD.

I predict a good game and a W for the Vikes,More than anything cause now is worthless,I also predict during next week someone will start a topic about our Playoff chances and the health status of AP ,praying that If he is healthy We could beat the Giants and blah blah .....
(Well thougth is not worthless, that will make Raiders draft earlier than us)El underdog.
