Adrian who? It will take a lot more than one game for anyone to replace Adrian Peterson, but with the Vikings' rookie star sidelined by a knee injury, Chester Taylor did a more-than-adequate job as his replacement....

Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good.
No one has to tell that to Vikings linebacker Chad Greenway, who did a number of good things in Sunday's 29-22 win over Oakland but still was in danger of being fitted for goat horns near the end....

In Minnesota's first game without injured back Adrian Peterson, Taylor filled in and showed the speed and resiliency he displayed last season as the Vikings' featured back.
