Re:Vikings Vs Panthers thoughts and predictions

Might be in for a good game as long as the score remains close.

Deangelo is a top 5 runningback in the league so he, as well as Stewart, will give our run D a true test. Steve Smith loves to score on us, but thankfully no more Smoot so Winfield can shut Smith up all night.

Their pass rush is above average with Peppers coming after Favre. The secondary isn't terrible, but they usually have to defend a short field thanks to the turnovers from the offence.

Hopefully we can cause some turnovers on D, work the short field, and run the ball a ton. No doubt we should win, but I don't think it will be as much of a blowout as some people think.
    We're bringing purple back.

Re:Vikings Vs Panthers thoughts and predictions

I am looking forward to this game. The Panthers are playoff clibre team that has been dragged down by one player (Delhomme). They are playing much better with Moore and will give us a run for our money.

    My predictions are:
    - 10-13 Vikings at half time.
    - 30-21 Vikings victory. Stewart and DeAngelo will force Brinkly and Sanford to step up and make plays.
    - Favre will be more productive because it's not humanly possible to play CB any better than Hall and Joseph did last week.
    - Berrian will drop only 1 pass this week because Favre is going to stop throwing him the damn ball.
    - Rice goes over 100 yards.

    What I want to see:
    - Playoff style offense like last week. Run the ball up the gut for positive yards.
    - More carries to Chestor Taylor. The dividends are obvious.
    - Physical defense like last week.
    - Solid return game from Harvin and Reynaud.
    None

    Key to victory.
Defense needs to stop the run. Safety help over the top for Smith. Don't let Peppers get started, run and screen his direction.

My prediction is too boring; so I also predict a cat will run across the field in the third quarter, the moon will turn blood red,and aliens will land in the endzone and start firing ray guns at people in the fourth quarter.
I didn't get the score right. But the rest of it was pretty close!

I think I said something like "We will see TJ by the half" or something along that lines.

Sounds like I was pretty close. :P
