Well despite the results of those drives the kitties were still moving the ball with ease from the opening whistle. They just kept shooting themselves in the foot. I mean they tried to give us the game and Ponder wasn't good enough to take it. However the poor offensive execution was what let to the defense being gassed in the 2nd half, no doubt about it.

That's what I was wondering. The apologists were claiming we played vanilla in preseason because we didn't want to reveal anything lol. So where was that offense we've been hiding? Oh I get it, we're not going to reveal anything in the regular season either, so we can surprise teams with the KAO.2 in the playoffs that we're not going to make.

Well he would because he'd be better at sustaining drives and giving the defense a rest so they're not gassed by the 3rd quarter.

The term apologists seem to get thrown around a lot here... Who exactly was saying that we didn't want to reveal anything?

Hey, Ponder, here's a tip while you're watching film. See that guy under center? Number 7? Yup...that's him. Pay attention to all the stupid crap HE does. Yeah, I know, I can't believe anyone could play that bad either. No....I have no idea why the coach didn't bench him....maybe you should ask him. Anyway...as long as you look nothing like that guy #7, you'll be fine.

Thanks for the post Smegma. It was worth the read.

He graded on a 0-5 scale. A total team fail, with the LB'ers, OL, and QB leading the suckiness. Pretty much the way I saw it as well. The team just wasn't ready to start the season.

He rakes over Erin Henderson and Matt Kalil pretty hard.

Ponder, well nothing that hasn't already been said, just a less emotional break down of his performance.

Erin Henderson b*tched and moaned all off-season about getting the chance to be a starter, yet he looked completely lost out there. He should be thoroughly embarrassed by that performance after acting like a pouting child. Move him to OLB and put Desmond Bishop at MLB asap.

Of course, Desmond Bishop wasn't even in the game... not one snap... despite leading the team in tackles through the preseason.

Hate to start this again, but Fire Frazier.

Agreed, I would make the move immediately.

Frazier must have been a really big fan of "What About Bob?".

I'm not saying he was good, but he did have 11 tackles and an interception.

Greenway looked lost, out of position, and slow the entire game. All in all a bad day for the linebackers.

He doesn't blame anyone in that video. He just says we need to do better.
