Wanna know my prediction, the Vikes take it up the keyster once again. I just finished watching the packers blow it to the Bears and when Crosby had that field goal blocked to win the game I knew at that moment that the Vikes were done. The Bears are playing the Texans who just got stomped on by the Raiders for Christ sake and we have the SB champs to contend with. The only chance in hell we might have is if the Giants rest all of their starters and spot us
a 21 point lead, then we might have a shot . I tell you what, and you all can say what you want and bash me for being a negative fan, but after watching these bumbling idiots for over 41 years it is getting to a point where it is freakin' ridiculous. Even if we are able to back into the playoffs somehow where the hell are we going? Despite how much I bleed purple it is so gol 'darnit apparent that we are not a "great" team yet and our play this past week signified that fact. Sure we had a pretty good streak going there but the truth that we are only a good team at best become very apparent. The great teams don't fumble the ball 7 times when it matters and show up with their A game. I can see what happened in Arizona back in 2003 happening all over again and I tell you that if it does I am hanging it up with this team. I have a brother who was a diehard fan for over 30 years and when they blew that Championship game to the Giants 41-0 he cleaned his hands of them and I am just about ready to do the same thing. He had reached the end of his rope watching the futility reach it's peak. But I hung on and said the Vikes will get to the promised land one of these days but my God it is getting pretty old.
Ok now you all can come back and call me a "negative" fan and say what you will but it will not change the fact that I truly bleed purple every week in and week out and am ready to hang it up if they choke this year.
Win/Lose/or Draw don't quit on this team.
You've been a fan for 41 years no sense in giving up now.

Wow, I just hope this negativity doesn't affect the 12th man, lets make this game a real home field advantage playoff atmosphere.

History and Past has nothing to do with now, the future is not written for us but written by us. There is no mystical curse but I don't know that will be understood by the fans, their prone to let downs.

Its gonna be a battle, I think our team will respond, we've had the Giants number as of late and this is the first time we get to play them in our house for quite some time. The Giants will come swinging, the players and coaches of New York would like nothing more than too prevent us into the playoffs, we're a very dangerous team they don't want to see down the road.

My keys to the game is shutting down their run game and forcing Manning to beat us with the crowd noise. On offense I think we can get the ball running and do our thing, we pass protected very well agains the Giants last year, McKinnie needs a big game for Tarvaris Jackson. Most importantly, don't turnover the ball, I don't believe there are many teams in the league that can beat us when we are mistake free, Self Destruction is our only path to loosing.

usually that tells me but as of today they didn't have anything.
probably too early since they were still deciding the flex teams.
    okay then, thanx

Is there a team that can beat the Vikings when they dont turn the ball over and dont make stupid penalties?

some of you guys act like were 5-10, not 9-6 (8-3 since starting 1-3) and also act like the Falcons handed us our butts...we beat ourselves in that game, im not guaranteeing a victory..i think we will win, but i KNOW we wont just get plowed over.

I really don't know the answer to that question but I do know that its very difficult when we don't.

    Exactly.
I really hope the crowd isn't cynical.
We need to support this team now more than ever...make the 12th man carry us to the playoffs!
