this is the Minnesota Vikings chance to change their reputation, or to fall right back into place...cut the fumbles out and we should be fine...
welp ........ :'(
either history will repeat its self
or we can some how get this freaking monkey off of our backs
due to recent events in the past 2 days . . . . ::)
oh gawd i hope im wrong
I would love for the vikes to get into the playoffs but..........history and recent events say its not going to happen.
Oce again they wont be able to keep their hands away from their own throats, turnovers in critical situations will cost them and that will add up to another season on the outside looking in. 23-17 Giants
we should definitely be the more determined team in this game.
Giants by 10 or so.
I committed the cardinal sin of being a Vikes fan leading up to the Falcs game this week: buying in. For some reason, I kept thinking that this year was somehow different, that we'd lock up our playoff berth in week 16 and be potentially be playing for the #2 seed against the Giants.
Instead, I watch that mess (in which they get my hopes up again with a late rally, only to fail), cheer for the Packers (ugh) for 3.5 hours, and see the muffed punt, the Alex Brown blocked FG, the coin toss off Urlacher's head, the horse collar, and the Gould FG, some or all of which will meld into one heaping pile of frustration in the back of my mind in time only to be recounted with Gary Anderson, Nathan Poole, 41-0, the crapping of the pants that was Redskins-Vikings in Week 16 of 2007 and the slew of other dark days and moments that plague our sad existence.
I'm sure we'll be in it on Sunday afternoon but will somehow squander that away too, leaving ourselves to rely on the likes of Matt Schaub to come up with an otherworldly game in Houston.
Oh, what could have been...
is it sunday yet??
We should win if we dont screw up. And with a little luck. We cant always be so Fing unlucky.
Worst week of football possible...
