Vick missing, but Vikings still wary

Star quarterback Michael Vick has been suspended indefinitely by the NFL and is awaiting sentencing after pleading guilty to federal dogfighting charges.....

That spread offense they are running can/could provide us with a problem.
Smacks a bit of what NE did to us last year.


Sure hope we can get some pressure from not only our DE but our DT's as well.
If we can't collapse the pocket Harrington will pick us apart with that spread.

I'd be more worried about the spread too, but c'mon it's Joey fricken Harrington... aw man I bet D-sharp and company are licking their chops for the ducks they will be able to go after all game long

They will spread us out, and try Dunn up the middle, they also have a couple big backs to try against us. They cannot win rushing the ball and our new pass rush will get it's first challenge. We cannot afford Harrington time in the pocket. I think Ray is gonna flush Harrington out and into the arms of Udeze, ending his sack drought, and is going to get 1 himself. Robison, and the rest of our rotation will keep rushers fresh. In all I say 4-6 sacks, and a couple-3 turn-overs, would be a great way to get that Viking Buzz started. Skol~ Baby!

They will spread us out & throw quick short dumps over the line & be successful with it with fewer rushes than passes to keep us honest. Just watch.

Isn't it funny how teams will mirror what your trying to do on offense. I say let Harrington try and use the short game, we'll still force a turnover.

It's not funny. That's were the majority of the success comes from that teams have against us.

That and making below average QB's look like Joe Montana, in previous years.

This is the kind of game we have historically lost. On paper we should win, they are coming off a controversial offseason and they have a journeyman QB who has floundered in the past. We NEED to win this game and can in no way take them lightly or they will take us to the cleaners.

They will come out very emotional and we need to match that intensity and shut them down with our defense. Then we need to get to the 20 on offense and figure out how to put it in the endzone for 6.
