There are far too many variables here for me to predict a single score.
    Turnovers, for one.

The problem is that we don't know which team is going to show up.
Will we see the Eagles who trounced Dallas 44-6, or will we see the Eagles who managed only 3 points against Washington?
Will we see the Vikings who thoroughly thrashed Arizona and held their passing attack in check, or will we see the Vikings who fumbled the game away against Atlanta?

Believe it or not, the Vikings have fared pretty well against some pass-happy teams this year.
Besides the Cards, they had a respectable showing in the loss against Indianapolis (granted, many of their players were hurt - but they still had the same QB and ideology).
Then again, they could very well get burned.
Again, it depends on whether or not we show up to play.

Much of this depends on the intangibles.
Can T-Jack handle the pressure of his first playoff game?
Will the Vikings be distracted by the whole ticket issue?
Will they be content to simply stand pat as division champs, or are they hungry for more?
I'm hoping the coaching staff will be preparing the T-Jack (and the team) for this game, and they will be ready, focused, and wanting to win.
If not, this could get ugly.

Bottom line: the Vikings need to win the battle in the trenches if they want to win this game.
We need to pressure McNabb and his receivers with tight coverage, solid play from our front four and some blitzes thrown in.
If Jared Allen gets a sack, we'll definitely be in this game.
If he gets two or more, we'll definitely win.

On the offensive end, it's the same deal.
We need to protect Jackson from the variety of blitzes he's sure to be facing.
We can do this by throwing short passes, using motion to prevent jams at the line, and throwing it to our tight end.
We can also take pressure off Jackson by running the ball well.
There are only so many ways you can show eight men in the box - it's hard to disguise that, which makes it easier to read.

Ideally, we'll have T-Jack throwing the ball less than 20 times.
Our running game is our bread and butter - as our running game goes, so goes our team.

Also, we can't turn the ball over.
Peterson needs to hang onto the ball, and Jackson needs to avoid throwing interceptions.
However, there may be a benefit to his recent fumbling.
The Eagles defense may be too focused on stripping the ball out and not enough on tackling.
As a result, they MIGHT (emphasis on MIGHT) get overaggressive and sloppy.
If they do this, and Peterson still holds onto the ball, he'll be able to exploit it.
However, I wouldn't count on it.

If the Vikings do all these things, they'll win by about a touchdown.
If they don't, they'll lose by at least 13 points.
    Nicely done BBQ.

I'm thinking similarly...although, may I be so bold as to say, "If the Vikes have a successful answer to the Blitzkrieg ahead of them (running - AD 120+, FINDING Shiancoe, and/or, TJack running for positive yards)," the Vikes will win.
    short, they will not.
I will give you McNabb/Westbrook success...we need our own offensive production.
Close game (if no TO's)...Eagles, 17-16.

Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent

The Vikes are happy to be the underdogs.
(Even in their own doghouse ???)
They will play for themselves and make the Eagles and the rest of the NFL pay for underestimating them.

I'm curious how we score an unusual amount of points like 39?
I'm guessing 6 touchdowns and 3 missed extra points.
    OR
6 touchdowns, 1 missed PAT and a failed 2 PT conversion?
