    Thanks Singer. Nice reads.

Two very astute posts as well.
I agree, a stud DE in FA next year plus a QB and another WR sure would go along way to erasing some of this stuff.

Lots of CAP $$$ just sitting around waiting for the right players me thinks. ;D
That's what we said this offseason. Instead we got Robison in the draft, picked up kelly holcomb, and got Aundrae Allison, Bobby Wade, and Sidney Rice. Does Childress even know what a stud player is? This team needs good veterans and Childress continues to believe that rookies and nobodies can fill those roles.

I bet if they let him buy the groceries he could cook a better dinner.

    All kidding aside.
What do you really think I was gonna post other than something like....... The Chiller isn't the only one making those decisions.

Re: Vikings vs. Eagles post-game articles

I see so many posts on here about how it takes 2-3 years to really develop a good player in the NFL. Well, look at the draft from 2005:
    1. Troy Williamson, WR, South Carolina, (1st round, 7th overall)
    2. Erasmus James, DE, Wisconsin, (1st round, 18th overall)
    3. Marcus Johnson, OT/OG, Mississippi, (2nd round, 49th overall)
    4. Dustin Fox, DB, Ohio State, (3rd round, 80th overall)
    5. Ciatrick Fason, RB, Florida, (4th round, 112th overall from Washington for 2005 4th & 5th round picks)
    6. C.J. Mosley, DT, Missouri, (6th round, 191st overall)
    7. Adrian Ward, CB, Texas-El Paso, (7th round, 219th overall from Oakland)
That draft was so poor that the guys drafted 2 years ago are the ones you should be counting on becoming big contributors this year. That draft basically put us a year behind.

Thanks for posting this Singersp.....That was pretty much what I got out of what I saw....especially the part of the article that said we looked flat at times on the sidelines. I saw a lot of that....It was disheartening to see.

Sharper made a good point too about going out and not making plays....."At the End of the Day finding ways to lose". I believe that was pretty close to the actual quote in the article.

Lots to think about here....Thanks again

    Cheers!

Its hard enough defending the regime we have in place now.
NO, not gonna do it COJO for the one that is out the door.
    ;D

    Just kidding of course.
    Very good point.
Good thing the 2006 and 2007 class seem to be (for the most part) ahead of the curve.
    They almost have to be.

For the first time since the end of September, Minnesota Vikings tight end Visanthe Shiancoe actually caught a pass on Sunday.........

MINNEAPOLIS -- Losing football. The 2007 Vikings have a firm grasp of the concept.
