Vikings vs Cowboys -Romo to have a field day?
Yes it was nice to beat the Bears, but now its one of our
toughest games. The Cowboys... an man i am pissing my pants everytime we play a throwing offense. TO, Crayton, Witten O My...AW on TO..i dont like that.. TO is 6'5 an runs a 4.4 he will outrun an out size AW..this is a BAD match-up... I believe griffin can hold his own on Crayton.. but whoever is on TO will be picked on..
We need Chad Greenway to be able to cover Jason Witten. cause we are going to need our safeties for there WR's so that leaves LB's for the TE.. Ray edwards an Robison need to get pressure on romo.. we need atleast 4-5 sacks to win this..
Tjax is gonna have to throw 25-35 times this game becuase dallas will stack the box. so Rice an Williamson need to have a big day
what you guys think

Who's defense is better?
The Vikes (13 Sacks/7 Int's) or the Bills (4 Sacks/9 Int's)?

Re: Vikings vs Cowboys -Romo to have a field day?
We need to shore up our short to mid range pass defense, along with putting some pressure on Romo to hurry his pass. He is going to dink and dunk us all day if we can’t put some pressure on him.
I think our run defense should be able to handle Barber and Jones and hold them under 100 yards.
Our defensive line needs to step it up to help out our pass defense.
Pressure…Pressure…Pres sure
It all starts up front

I think a similar game-plan to yesterday's will be in order on offense.
And I think the Vikings can win if they can hold onto the ball and get key turnovers from the Cowboys.
=Z=
Thanks to Josdin for the awesome sig!

Not to mention, the Pats where able to get to Romo on a number of plays......Again, we will need to do our best to get some presure on Romo. If we do, that will be a big plus for us.
I think on key thing for our offense this week will be that Dallas will surely be game planning on stopping AD.
This could be a good thing for us if our coaches plan for that properly......I can see now, our reservers having the chance to get open on the mid to deep throws and also the Play Action Game should be
a big part of our O next week.
Not to mention, AD will probably be pumped more than ever, and if our O line can dominate the Dallas D line, I expect nothing but more good times from AD.
This is a game we can win for sure.
I don't feel we are as big a dog in this game as most out there probably have us.
Matter of fact, I bet the Cowboys are way more nervous about this game than our players will be.
This will be a big plus for us also, when it comes to teams mind set.....
Plus, I'll be naked for the second week in a row, the power of Nakedness will bring us home winners.....
;D
I LOVE THE SMELL OF VICTORY IN THE MORNING AIR.

How did that work for them?
Run the ball right at them.

Dallas was looking beyond Buffalo, at New England.
They will not look past the Vikes.
They will be ready, it will be another tough road game for the Vikes. Romo is not Brian Griese, it will be all we can do to contain that passing attack.

Re: Vikings vs Cowboys -Romo to have a field day?
Probably one of the toughest games for us.
In the first half of the Bears game we took their TE out of the game and C. Benson had some yardage. In the second half we took C. Benson out of the game and their TE had some catches and they had some slants.
Now the Cowboys have both great RBs and TEs plus they do actually have a good QB and WR.
Add that to the fact that we had the middle open most of the time against the Bears, its just scary to think what Romo would do with such space when Jason Witten runs between the numbers...did I mention Witten is Romo's favorite target?
All is not lost of course but we need to play ball next week from the snap.

That is the oldest cliche in the book.
No coach in his right mind ignores or overlooks a team no matter what thier record.
Truth is I don't think that the vaunted Dallas Offense is as good as most think.
Do they match up against us?
Yea I think they do, however, I am not going to roll over and just give them the game.
Romo still needs to make the throws and TO (I'll drop everything that comes my way) could/should live up to his droppsies billing.
For sitting on the bench and all the grooming he's had you would think Romo would have better stats than he has.
59.5 percent completion.
Jeeezzzz.
Att/119 Comp/200 Perc/59.5 Yards/1,707 TD's/15 Ints/9
Wonder what TJ's (49%) completion percentage would be if he played behind that line and had those Recievers.
Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.

Re: Vikings vs Cowboys -Romo to have a field day?
With an offense with so many weapons like Dallas, I think you have to try and take one thing away... I say, double the hell out of TO, get him frustrated.
Normally I'd say "get Romo off rhythm", but I don't trust our D-line or blitz packages to get to him.
