I hope we didn't run the emotional gas tank empty against the Bears. We need to stay focused this week, and down the stretch to get to the playoffs. Childress has to keep his team ready, as we cannot afford a letdown against the winless Lions. We'll see how bad this wants it now, and I think we're pretty hungry.

We are going to annihilate the Lions. It will probably be about 60-3

Hopefully it's the standard and not a fluke. Don't get me wrong, I'm optimistic, just cautiously.

I was worried about the same thing had the Chicago game been a hard fought game down to the wire but really, after that score after halftime by Chicago, from there on the game was pretty much in hand.
I don't think it taxed the players mentally the way some division battles have.
I don't foresee a letdown.
I see a confident team going to play Detroit remembering what happened in MN and knowing they need to take care of business to win the North.
