    Vikings TV Help

I am about to sign up for satellite TV, and was looking into the sport packages. Can anyone there in Minneapolis tell me what channel (if there is one) typically shows the Vikings game when they aren't on a major network like ESPN, etc.? For example does Fox North, or anything like that, show them consistently - any station I should try and get on my package? Otherwise, I guess I'll have to pony up for the NFL package. Yikes.

    Thanks for the help.

You will not be able to get the Vikes games on FSN.
Your only option is the NFL Ticket.
I have the sports package and Sentana Sports also.
The NFL will just block the games to force you to buy the Ticket.
    Trust me, I've tried everything.

Thanks for your help guys. I guess that's what I was expecting, but part of me was holding out hope...

I'll just have to take a mortgage out on the home for the NFL Sunday Ticket.

    Thanks again

In my part of the country, Nebraska, it was shown on Fox most of the time.
When it is on broadcast tv in your area dtv can't show it.
    That just changed last year.
Too bad for me. I get much better reception on the sattelite.
I guess I'm going to buy one of those off air antennas and mount it on a pole to try for theHDTV broadcasts.

The local FOX affiliate is KMSP, channel 9.
That's the channel that most Vikings games are televised on in the Twin Cities area.

If I'm not mistaken, FSN North will be showing all Vikings games this season.
