In only 14 short days, the Vikings will descend on Mankato, Minn., to begin the 2008 season with training camp....

The timing should work out good to see them a few times.

    I can't wait

It's feeling like a kid waiting for Christmas
for training camp to start. This article posed a few good questions, and refreshingly, none were about Tarvaris. We do face a tough schedule, but I like how he points out that if we can be 4-3 after the first part of the season we do have a favorable stretch at the end of the season. I think Ray Edwards back will be OK, but if he isn't able to stay healthy it will affect our depth on the d-line.
Matt Birk will have another pro-bowl season, and will retire a Viking. And as far as AP having a sophmore slump..... only if he gets hurt. I believe Adrian will learn to protect himself better, along with his improved blocking and recieving will be far more versatile, making it harder for defenses to plan for.

I expect us to take advantage of stacked defenses, and become more balanced on offense and defense. We will still be a top three rushing O and D, and improve dramatically in our passing games, a top 3 defense, with a top 15 total offense.

This might be the $25,000 question that everyone seems to be ignoring.
Especially the crowd that keeps talking SB.

    Yep!

We have a tough schedule this year & a SB appearance will be tough to achieve. GB might be a good team this year & they might not without Favre. Either way I don't see them as easy wins. The Bears have Grossman & they give us fits everytime we play them. Hell, we even lost to the Lions last year.

Plus we have Indy, Giants & the Jaguars on that schedule.
