I don't think anyone would want Berrian's contract anyway--especially a team that sent a player like Richard Seymour packing because they didn't want to fork over a new contract.

It wasn't to make roster space for Moss.

Mitchell has been a nice surprise, overperforming expectations every year but the one he got hurt. A good piece of our dominant DLine rotation who not only got occaisional pressure, but was solid vs. the run as well. I'm kinda bummed we let him go, but as pointed out, the DL is our deepest position and somebody had to go to open a spot for Moss...and we got something in return.

I think we're seeing more 2012 picks in trades cuz teams are preparing for a work stoppage in 2011...why pay an extra draft pick not to play?
