Although he's one of the team's lowest-paid players, Vikings cornerback Charles Gordon earned an additional $190,083 through the NFL's Performance-Based Pay system....

Glad to hear that some of the younger guys that are stepping up and playing are getting rewarded for it.

Leading the Vikings in performance-based pay were three cornerbacks: Cedric Griffin ($208,000), rookie Marcus McCauley ($206,500) and Gordon. Of the eight players who received six-figure allocations, the highest-paid player was right tackle Ryan Cook, whose adjusted compensation was $972,385.
Maybe they should add Griff and Cook to the list of guys (TJ included) that need to get thier contracts re-done with all the CAP windfall we seem to have.

Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v343/josdin00/Vikings/Marrdro_sig.jpg

These insentive laden contracts are great for the salary cap environment of the NFL. It sets goals for those second tier players that don't have the big contracts.
