Dexter Jackson was the mvp of that super bowl with 2 picks, but dwight returned two for touchdowns. And D. Smith is hardly past his prime at 27 years old.

That's what I thought, I saw John Lynch on NFLTA last night and he was talking about D. Smith being robbed of the Super Bowl MVP.

Yeah i saw the same thing, i believe it mentioned something about fan voting and how dexter's picks were early on in the game so he accrued more votes throughout the game.

Dexter's came at more important junctions in the game. One of Dwights came with only 2 seconds left, when the outcome of the game was hardly in question.

I'm really confused,

Does our strong safety ALWAYS have to be over the hill? Is it like a Vikings contractual agreement, that our strong safety must always be over 40 and have lost a leg in an artillery barrage?
