Keeping both McMullen and Stinkston?we cut carter? the receiver that did the most out of anybody on our entire roster in the preseason..another mistake made at that position..billy mcmullen is complete garbage, and hes still on this roster for some really stupid reason
It comes down to the same crap we've been getting fed the whole offseason.
The Vikes get benchwarmers, but hey, "they know the offense from playing with Childress in Philadelphia."
Sorry, I'd much rather take my chances with Carter, who actually did something this preseason, than sticking with the Eagles' garbage.
So they understand Childress' playbook--who cares?!
Doesn't mean they'll be any good.

Practice squad
Monday, September 4th, 2006 by Judd Zulgad
The Vikings have filled all but one of their practice-squad spots, signing receiver Jason Carter and running back Wendell Mathis on Monday. The team released both players from the active roster Sunday and they had to clear waivers before rejoining the practice squad. The Vikings now have seven players on the eight-man unit.
The group includes: Tight end Richard Angulo; cornerback Charles Gordon; tackle Donald Penn; defensive end Khreem Smith; receiver Martin Nance; Carter; and Mathis.

Phew, he passed through waivers.
