Im sure alot of the league talked about him. If it was up to me I woulda been talking about burning a 6 on him

How the conversation went when they "Talked about" him.

Spielman: "Hey, you hear Pryor is eligible for the draft"
Fraizer: "Please no, we already dropped some useless dead weight at QB"
Spielman: "Wasn't saying we should go for him, just trying to strike up a conversation. God you're such an asshole."
Fraizer: "U Mad bro?"
Spielman: "FUUUUUUUUU!!"

I would say that is as close as you can get to what really happened. The only other part of the conversation was:

Frazier: Why the hell didn't you fire Childress in 07 like I told you to so I would have at least had some time to coach when you had money to spend on players instead of walking into the ashes of the bridges he burned? I could have led them to victory over the Saints and the Colts.

I can't remember where I read this, but they were comparing Pryor to Mallett as a QB. They were both taken in the 3rd round and the guy was saying it was a good spot for him.

It was brought up that anyone who said nothing more than a 5th or 6th was just bitter about his actions, etc.

I however, completely agree with you. A 3rd is generous for him. He's got the speed and ability, but to be a passer in this league is a question. Could he be a WR? Who knows.

Heard from a Buckeye fan that Dan Patrick was talking them. I think the article I read was from Profootball Weekly.

Both really only compared them because of the head to head stuff in college.
