Vikings | Pieces put together for stronger running game in offseason
Tue, 25 Jul 2006 08:35:04 -0700
Don Seeholzer, of the Pioneer Press, reports the Minnesota Vikings may be focusing more on the run than they have in the past two seasons after making many additions to strengthen the ground game in the offseason. The additions of OLs Steve Hutchinson and Artis Hicks, along with the signing of blocking specialist FB Tony Richardson, should be opening up more lanes for another new addition, RB Chester Taylor. After ranking No. 27 in the league in rushing last season, head coach Brad Childress has made it clear that he intends to improve the Vikings' rushing attack.

Really?lol

Re: Vikings | strong running game
I was wondering if Taylor is going to every down back? I was also wondering if they will use Moore. I'm hoping that we have a top ten rushing attack this season.

I think we'll deff see some 2 back sets with Memo. MeMo IMO is a great change up runner, I think we'll see him come in on 3rd downs and such.
